Teekkari Village
Teekkari Village, located next to the Otaniemi campus, is a diverse residential area that offers a cozy home for those who value nature and tranquility as well as for those seeking a vibrant student life and a sense of community. In addition to housing, there are other facilities essential to student life in Teekkari Village, including meeting spaces, event venues, and facilities of associations and clubs operating within AYY. Otaniemi is close to nature and offers excellent outdoor recreational opportunities, and diverse university sports facilities at Otahalli sports hall provide affordable options for pursuing various activities. Travelling by metro to both Espoo and Helsinki is convenient, and the shopping centre connected to the metro station provides all essential services, from grocery stores to restaurants. Jämeräntaival 3
Jämeräntaival 3 was one of the first residential buildings to be constructed in the Teekkari Village.
Jämeräntaival 5
This building was completed in 1952, one of the first residential buildings to be constructed in the Teekkari Village, and was renovated in 2018.
Jämeräntaival 6
Jämeräntaival 6 contains larger shared apartments which house 6-12 residents and smaller shared apartments for groups of four and five.
Jämeräntaival 7
Jämeräntaival 7 has also been renovated and its old, large shared apartments have been converted into studios and studio rooms in shared one-room and two-room apartments. The overall appearance of the apartments has also been significantly modernised, as the surface materials, fixtures and fittings were replaced during the renovation.
Otaranta 8
Built in 2005, Otaranta 8 is one of the newest sites in the Teekkari Village. Otaranta’s buildings are balcony-access buildings, which means that some of the apartments are accessed via an exterior corridor.
Otakaari 18
The buildings at Otakaari 18 were built in two parts. Buildings B and C were completed in 2004 and were joined ten years later by building A.
Otakaari 20
This 1950s property is one of the first student housing buildings as you approach the Teekkari Village.
Servinkuja 1
Servinkuja 1are located in a quiet, green area slightly further away from the centre of the Teekkari Village.
Servin Maijan tie 6, 10 and 12
The properties at the end of Servin Maijan tie road are located in a natural and maritime environment right on the tip of the Otaniemi peninsula. The area is sparsely built and its apartments feature large windows, letting in lots of light and providing a beautiful view out to sea.
Leppävaara and Miestentie
AYY’s newest property is located on Miestentie, between the Otaniemi campus and the Keilaniemi business district. The property, completed in 2019, is located approximately a kilometre away from the campus area. Our properties on Rummunlyöjänkatu in Leppävaara are located in an urban area close to amenities. There are also parks and forested areas nearby.

Servinkuja 2 and Servin Maijan tie 1 are part of Otaniemen asuntosäätiö (OAS), which is a separate entity from AYY’s other housing. Residents' democracy works a bit differently in OAS housing, but you can apply for housing at domo.ayy.fi, just like for other locations.

Servin Maijan tie 1 is located in natural surroundings slightly further away from the hustle and bustle of student activity in the Teekkari Village.
