AYY's goal is to be a bold and responsible community that understands its role when facing the greatest global challenges of our time. AYY bears its responsibility for the collective future of the environment and society as well as for a liveable Earth by promoting sustainability both in the University community and in the wider society, where biodiversity and global justice are intrinsic values. In addition to climate action and minimizing greenhouse gas emissions, all activities must take into account all other planetary boundaries as well, including acidification and eutrophication, biodiversity loss and land use changes.
