AYY Board elected for 2022

The Board will officially decide on the areas of responsibility of the Board members at its first meeting.
“Next year’s Board has excellent capabilities to advance the action plan projects and the vision of the Student Union’s future approved by the Representative Council. I am confident that, with this composition, we will be able to channel our members’ views widely into operational decision-making,” says Otto Usvajärvi, Former of the Board and Chair of the AYY Board for the next year.
At the same AYYE 2/2022 meeting, the Representative Council elected the Vice Chairs of the Representative Council for 2022. Allu Pyhälammi was elected as First Vice Chair and Julia Tofferi as Second Vice Chair.

Winning artworks selected for the Otakaari 15 art competition
AYY organized an art competition for students, and the winning works will become permanent artworks in the common rooms of the new Otakaari 15 student housing building.
Results of the member vote have been confirmed
Aalto University Student Union (AYY) held the first member vote in its history at the end of April. A majority of those who voted wished to keep the internet connection included in the rent unchanged and considered Trinet, the internet service owned by AYY, to be important.
