Bookings for AYY’s rental facilities can now be made until 10 Jan 2021. Bookings are made through AYY’s TILA system (tila.ayy.fi) by using your personal Aalto user ID. If you do not have Aalto user ID and want to reserve facilities for yourself, you can send us a reservation request with this form. [linkki] Reservation requests received on the form will be confirmed by a separate email.

Most of AYY’s rental premises use a code lock, for which the booker receives a single-use key code from the TILA system. For a few premises, the keys must be picked up from AYY’s office in Otaniemi. Please note that our services office will only be open on a limited basis in the summer of 2020. If necessary, the number of reservations for premises may be limited so that the management of keys and cleaning can be carried out safely.

Read about the premises, their locking and booking instructions here.

AYY tackles racism in its community – technical students’ songbook withdrawn from the market

Aalto University Student Union will immediately withdraw the technical students’ songbook (Teekkarilaulukirja) from the market. The reason for this is the mention of the old, racist lyrics of Teekkari Hymn preserved in the songbook. AYY apologises and wishes to develop its own activities. In addition to addressing the songbook issue, AYY is currently preparing other measures to promote anti-racism and equality.
