Bookings for AYY’s rental facilities can now be made until 10 Jan 2021. Bookings are made through AYY’s TILA system (tila.ayy.fi) by using your personal Aalto user ID. If you do not have Aalto user ID and want to reserve facilities for yourself, you can send us a reservation request with this form. [linkki] Reservation requests received on the form will be confirmed by a separate email.

Most of AYY’s rental premises use a code lock, for which the booker receives a single-use key code from the TILA system. For a few premises, the keys must be picked up from AYY’s office in Otaniemi. Please note that our services office will only be open on a limited basis in the summer of 2020. If necessary, the number of reservations for premises may be limited so that the management of keys and cleaning can be carried out safely.

Read about the premises, their locking and booking instructions here.

If you are unsure about anything related to premises or your booking, please do not hesitate to contact us

The proposal is disappointing because it does not solve the core problems of student financial aid or improve the livelihoods of students.

A promise of free education is not enough

The Ministry of Education and Culture has published a vision for higher education and research for 2040, which is intended to guide the direction of Finland's higher education policy. Increasing the number of university graduates in the young age group to 60 per cent, as proposed by the vision, requires investments and ambition from decision-makers. In this blog, Totti Korpua, AYY’s Advocacy Specialist, discusses the significance of the vision for students.
