AYY’s first-list associations have the right to book rental saunas, event venues and meeting rooms in advance. Reservations for first-list associations and recreational facilities are made by 12noon on 15 Dec.

AYY rents saunas, event venues, meeting rooms and the van to its members at affordable rates. Members and non-members can book facilities for the period 18 Jan 2021−8 Aug 2021.

We are going to watch The Game Changers, a Netflix documentary, which uncovers the benefits of plant-based food (especially protein) for athletes! After the movie, we will have a chance to discuss (praise and/or criticize, who knows) the movie. Join us and let’s spend this time having fun and learning! Register below!

Join us on the 8th of March to learn about the opportunities that technology presents for more sustainable food production! Solar Foods, a company creating protein using air and renewable electricity, and a vertical farming company iFarm will be introducing their innovative ways of producing food, as well as answering your questions in a Q&A session.

Aalto University Student Union’s Representative Council convenes for its meeting 2/2021.

The role of companies in causing and combating climate change is huge. Therefore, the Aalto Sustainable Business Club brought together Kesko, Neste, Finnair and Valmet to discuss the role of sustainability in their companies. The event will start with introductions by the companies, followed up by a panel discussion. You will hear about the actions that the companies are taking, as well as the challenges and opportunities they are facing. When registering, don’t forget to send in your questions for the panel! The event is at 17:30 in Zoom, 6th of April.

Wappu is unique and traditional time in the Aalto community. Let’s celebrate the student community, the upcoming summer and the celebration of joy!

Wappu Studio is a streamed studio broadcast organised by Aalto University Student Union, OUBS, Jäynä and Äpy 22.–30.4. A pop-up studio will be set up in Dipoli's Kaleva Hall, where AYY's volunteers and associations operating in the Aalto community will hold remote events and programs, which will be streamed to all Wappu people.
