Tour de Walpuri
Tour de Walpuri arrives to shock, inspire and unite the whole Otaniemi community and all Aalto-minded people on the 29th of April. So free your night for an incredible adventure that will take you to the heart of Wappu! 🥰
The tour will kick off from Alvarin aukio at 20.00 and continue all the way until midnight around Teekkari Village. You can pick up the overall-badge and checkpoint crawl map from a checkpoint in front of AYY's central office or at Jämeräntaival 5 courtyard. Registration for the event is not required, it is enough to show up. The most fit size for the groups is 4-10 people, but don’t let this limit yourself too much.
Checkpoint maps can be returned to the Jämeräntaival 5 courtyard point between 22:30 and 00:30. You should continue the evening in Smökki, where Wappu Festival organized by Pelmu will act as an afterparty for Tour de Walpuri. 🤩
The winners are announced the next day at the Declaration of Wappu Rowdiness. The best team from both the participants and the checkpoint holders will be awarded with awesome prizes! 🎉
