Smökki Afterwork & Smökki Cup 2025
August is here, which means the return of the Smökki Afterwork and the Smökki Cup! On Wednesday, 13th of August from 17:00 onwards, it’s time to compete for the Otaniemi beach volleyball championship – and at the same time, you can enjoy a lovely summer evening by the court in Smökki.
Smökki Afterwork
It’s time once again to enjoy the best moments of late summer at Smökki Afterwork regardless of your work status! Grab your friends and come to Smökki on Wednesday, 13th of August between 17:00 and 23:00 for a moment or the whole evening to enjoy food, drinks, and various activities that’ll make even the most stubborn sheep skip with joy.
The event is free of charge, with food and drinks available for a small fee.

Smökki Cup
Alongside the Afterwork, the Smökki Cup will once again determine the Smökki Beach Volleyball Champion! Gather a team of 4–7 players and sign up now via the Kide.app button below. Games start at 5 pm, but you can also indicate in the sign-up if you’d prefer a later start.
We’re also aiming to form an open team, so feel free to sign up even if you don’t have a team of your own!
