Otaniemi Disc Golf Championship
Even though the weather is getting worse, and the days may get shorter, it is by no means reason to discard all outdoor activities.
The Community section Aava and Aalto University's own Disc Golf Club AFK invite everyone interested in throwing a puck to find out who rules the grass fields in Otaniemi. š„āØ The event is held on October 24th and supporters are also welcome.
Since the tracks in the Helsinki metropolitan area are probably quite familiar for most fans of the sport, in Aalto spirit, we have planned a completely new track in Otaniemi! The track consists of nine holes located on Alvarinaukio and around Ossinlampi. The race will start on Sunday at 9:00 am after which the track in question is scheduled to be run twice. There is a break of about an hour between rounds. At the end of the event, the best competitors will naturally be rewarded with amazing prizes. š š
Registration for the event starts on Friday 15.10. at 12:00. There are limited places for the competition and the registration form will be published to this event page next Friday.
