AYY is looking for Rental and Service Manager!
As Rental and Service Manager, you will be responsible for the Student Union’s rental operations and the service package and customer service of the Services Office. You will run the Services Office and supervise four housing service experts and two member service experts. Due to extensive construction projects on the Otaniemi campus, you will be able to influence the content of new production and ensure that the occupancy rate will remain high in the future when the housing stock increases. You will play a key role in the development of rental services, processes and residential activities, considering member and resident satisfaction as well as financial conditions. You will be a member of the Student Union’s management team and the Campus Development Steering Group. With your team, you will actively and closely develop operations with other teams and interest groups. The Student Union’s Financial Director will be your supervisor.
What we require from you:
- Experience in supervisory work
- Several years of experience in housing rental operations
- Experience in managing and developing service operations
- Applicable higher education degree or similar education
- Good written and verbal skills in Finnish and English
- Customer-oriented development approach and enthusiasm for teamwork
- Good interpersonal skills
- Stress tolerance, initiative and prioritisation skills
Experience and competence in the following are considered assets:
- Service design
- Rental activities of ARA properties
- Real estate investments
- Student housing
- Development of systems
- Fluent use of Swedish as a working language
The employment relationship is permanent and full-time (37.5 hours / week). The work will start as agreed as soon as a suitable person is found. Salary is determined in accordance with a collective agreement of the student unions, and we also offer good employment benefits. As a work community, AYY is very flexible and diverse.
