Are you AYY’s next resident blogger? Apply by 23 March!

We are looking for two bloggers from among our residents to share their tips and talk about their daily lives in AYY housing!

You may be the person we’re looking for if… 

  • You live in AYY housing this year
  • You enjoy being in the spotlight and sharing your daily life with others
  • You know how to create engaging social media content 

 
We offer you: 

  • A reward
  • Guidance and support throughout your blogging period
  • Experience in social media content creation 

 
How to apply as a resident blogger: 

Send us an informal video application where you tell us about yourself and your home. 

Please mention at least: 

  • What you stydy
  • What your apartment is like
  • What you do in your leisure time
  • Who you live with
  • If you have any pets 

Please also mention: 

  • What kind of social media content you are interested in
  • Which social media channels you actively use
  • Why you’re interested in serving as a resident blogger
  • Which topics you’d like to cover on our accounts
  • Also, attach pictures of your apartment with your application.
  • Tell us how often you would be ready to create content. 

If you want, you can also include links to your social media accounts. You can also tell us about your previous work experience if you believe it’s relevant to the blogger’s position. 

Please attach an example social media post on the topic “Life in AYY housing” with your application.

Aalto University Student Union (AYY) held the first member vote in its history at the end of April. A majority of those who voted wished to keep the internet connection included in the rent unchanged and considered Trinet, the internet service owned by AYY, to be important.

AYY has received a request for a member vote and has decided to open the first member vote in the student union’s history. Through this vote, we will gather members’ views on the internet connection speed and the importance of Trinet as a service provider. The electronic vote will be open from 12 noon on 27 Apr until 18.00 on 30 Apr and all AYY members can vote.
