Polytechnical Students' Museum

The Polytechnical Students' Museum, or the Teekkari Museum, was established at Poli as the result of community effort of technical students.

In addition to the collection and recording, the main mission of the museum is to display traditions for the community and the outside world. Therefore, visitors mainly include first-year students but the number of other visitors is growing steadily.

In its cellar, the museum offers facilities for various events. In addition to the opening cocktails at the annual ball, the museum hosts event checkpoints, history evenings and much more.

During the academic terms, the museum is open on Sundays at 12 noon–2pm, excluding national holidays.

The daily operations of the Polytechnical Students' Museum are run by the Museum Section, with the help of a group of tour guides. All museum workers are volunteers.

The museum website can be found at www.polyteekkarimuseo.fi (in Finnish).
